In Magé, Cordell also becomes a samba. And this Friday (23rd), Praça Dr. Nilo Pecanha will be the setting for an unprecedented event. Singer and composer Eric Fanuel will welcome former The Voice Brasil, Mila Paz from Pernambuco to sing sambas of all time from 6pm, mixing Mageense’s original cordels.
“It will be an unforgettable evening with a repertoire based on the roots of samba, especially my own. And Mila brings the great samba feel recorded by Clara Nunez, Beth Carvalho and Dona Yvonne Lara. Surely not everyone will resist and sing,” says Fanuel, who will celebrate more than music, but his birthday.
The project evaluates the samba from scratch, its compositions and strings that tell the story of Magé in the work of salvation and memory.
The artists will be accompanied by musicians such as Vitinho Cardoso, Arnaldinho Silva and Pablo Beato from Cordão da Bola Preta. The show is produced by Kafofolia Produtora in collaboration with Estética Sonora, Cultour and Samambaia Produções and is part of the projects included in the notification of Paulo Gustavo’s Law “Música nas Ruas”, sponsored by the Federal and State Government :

Eric Fanuel, MA, collects dozens of works in addition to being a translator, writer and advocate of local culture.
It has already collected presentations at the Boulevard do Theatro Municipal, the 2021 Book Biennale and the last two editions of Flip – Feira Literária de Paraty (2022/2023).
